Lodgepole's Cloud Dancing
(Cloudy) | ![]() |
| Cloudy is Kitty's brother and they are like night and day. Where Kitty is very outgoing and loves everyone, Cloudy is very reserved and sometimes skittish around people he does not know. Because of this, he was never shown much. Of course, if we put a sledding harness on him, he becomes a different dog. Therefore, I decided I should be able to show him with a harness on. Guess that does not work. He is the father of Bug. | |

Ch. Lodgepole's Firecat, CGC (Kitty) |
| Our biggest thrill with Kitty was to take BOB at the Oklahoma Specialty in 1996 from the BBE class under judge Bobbie Palmer. She has a BOS from the 2000 Chicago Specialty and BOB from the 1999 Cleveland Specialty. Kitty also made it down to the last 20 dogs at the 1997 National Specialty from an entry of 184 specials. Kitty also inherited the leading potential from her mother and grandmother. She had been an enthusiastic leader before leaving the hard stuff to her kids. Kitty produced 4 champions with Ch Stormwatch's Montana, SDO, Ch Lodgepole's Moon Shadow (Curtis/Preble), Ch. Lodgepole's Cayenne Pepper (Morgan), Ch. Lodgepole's Fire Walker, CGC and Ch. Lodgepole's Firefly. | |

| Ryder
was a product of combining Pushka's Autumn Lady (Ginger), a very tightly line
bred Marlytuk bitch with BIS Ch Innisfree's Norwegian Wood. This litter produced
6 puppies, 3 of which finished their championships and one who is pointed, Ch.
Lodgepole's Rough Ryder (Preble), CGC, Ch. Lodgepole's D'Artanian (Brewer), Ch.
Chelleset's Kjya (Pawlowski) and pointed Lodgepole's Kammerak (Broxey). Ryder
was bred to Teazer which produced the multi BISS winner Ch. Lodgepole's Firecat,
CGC. Ryder was an exceptional sled dog. He ran in the wheel position all of his
life and never quit. He tried obedience but did not like to be away from Carol,
so sits and downs never worked.

Rumpleteazer, CD, SD, CGC (Teazer) | ![]() |
| In her later years, Teazer became known as the Moving Rug, as she would be lying curled up in a ball in one room, and if you moved, there she was with you, in the same position, yet you never saw her get up and follow you in. Teazer did not care for the conformation ring as a young
dog, as she refused to put her ears up. Unfortunately, that earless look pops
up in her descendents. She did finally learn to put her ears up, and finished
with 3 majors. She was a very easy dog to train in obedience and the weekend after
she finished her 8 weeks of beginner's class, she earned her first CD leg. Teazer
followed in her mother's footsteps and ran lead on Kep's team. She was bred to
Lodgepole's Sagebrush (Micha's Earnest of Satan (Earnie) x Pushka's Autumn Lady
(Ginger) and produced Ch Lodgepole's Rebel Rouser, to Karnovanda's Chelleset Chase
to produce Ch. Lodgepole's Silverfrost Snow, CGC, (Hanner) and later bred to Ryder
which produced BISS Ch. Lodgepole's Firecat, CGC.

| CH Lodgepole's Rebel Rouser (Rebel) (pedigree) |
![]() |
| Rebel was one of those dogs who loved to show. He finished his Championship at the age of 15 months finishing in a whirlwind of 3 majors. He did produce a few litters, with the best known as Ch. Keenonee's Tyconderoka (Tye). Unfortunately, Rebel's life was short lived as he developed a rare disease called Brochialcasis. He was given 6 months to live and 5 years later at the age of 7 we had to put him down. He is greatly missed at our house. | |

Pushka's Autumn Lady (Ginger)
| Ginger came to us as her 4th and final home. She was
bred on the east coast and was purchased by a friend of mine for one breeding
as her pedigree ran very tight on Sunny. When he was finished breeding her, we
purchased her with the intention of running her and letting her live the rest
of her life out in our kennel. While we had her, Ginger was bred twice, once to
Michka's Ernest of Satan, SDO, which produced Lodgepole's Sagebrush and the last
time to BIS Ch. Innisfree's Norweign Wood. This litter produced 6 puppies of which
3 became champions. They were Ch. Chelleset's Kjaya, Ch. D'Artangan of Lodgepole
and Ch. Lodgepole's Rough Ryder. Ginger also ran on Kep's mid-distance team and
was one of those great dogs that just kept going. She has many grandchildren and
great grandchildren left at the kennel.
